It is not legal advice
Lawyer Match does not analyze legal rights, predict outcomes, select legal strategy, or tell a person what they should do.
Consumer safety
A matching request should make the next step clearer without implying legal advice, representation, confidentiality, or a guaranteed response.
Do not use Lawyer Match for an emergency
Call 911 or the appropriate emergency service when anyone is in immediate danger. For arrests, court dates, filing deadlines, eviction, deportation, limitation periods, or other urgent legal events, contact a licensed lawyer or appropriate court resource directly.
Clear service boundaries
Lawyer Match does not analyze legal rights, predict outcomes, select legal strategy, or tell a person what they should do.
Submitting a request or receiving interest does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship begins only under the terms agreed directly with a lawyer.
Eligibility to receive a request is not a ranking, certification, or promise about experience, quality, availability, fees, or results.
A firm may be unavailable, decline, or determine that the issue is outside its practice. Do not rely on matching to preserve a legal deadline.
Privacy principles
The public pilot separates encrypted contact data, consent, and a general matter summary. Verified requests stay inside restricted quality review; no law firm receives them while distribution is disabled.
You choose the maximum number of eligible firms that could receive the request only after a separately approved matching release.
Verification is designed to reduce misuse and confirm control of the contact channel.
Do not submit confidential files or sensitive identifiers in the initial description.
