Will a law firm receive my request during the public pilot?
No. During the public pilot, verified requests are encrypted and held for restricted quality review. Lawyer access, distribution, lead purchases, and billing remain disabled.
What information should I leave out of the first request?
Do not include passwords, financial or government identification numbers, confidential lawyer communications, medical record numbers, evidence files, or private access links.
Can Lawyer Match handle an emergency or protect a deadline?
No. Contact emergency services when safety is at risk. Contact a licensed lawyer or the appropriate court resource directly when a hearing, filing, arrest, removal, limitation period, or other deadline may affect your rights.
Can I pause or withdraw a submitted request?
Yes. A verified private status link lets you view the request status and pause, resume, or withdraw the request without placing private details in the page URL.
