Law firm website launch checklist

Plain answer

A launch checklist should test the workflow, not just the homepage

The site is not ready until the public pages, forms, booking, notifications, CRM records, legal disclaimers, sitemap, robots, and mobile experience work together.

01

Website basics

Home, services, attorneys, articles, contact, terms, privacy, disclaimer, and footer links should render and be easy to navigate.

02

Conversion path

Test phone links, forms, booking requests, intake assistant settings, confirmations, and CRM lead creation.

03

SEO foundation

Review titles, descriptions, canonicals, sitemap, robots, schema, image alt text, internal links, and noindex settings.

Checklist

What to review

This checklist is practical guidance for the platform workflow. It does not replace legal, security, or SEO professional review when that is needed.

  • One clear H1 on every public page.
  • Real attorney profile information and approved photos only.
  • Phone, email, booking, and consultation CTAs tested on mobile.
  • Forms protected with validation, CSRF, honeypot, and reCAPTCHA where configured.
  • Sitemap includes only canonical indexable public URLs.
  • Template previews and private dashboard pages are not indexable.
  • Stripe mode, email sending, and environment variables checked before launch.
